Celtics to honor firefighters who helped teens in icy pond

Tonight, the Boston Celtics will honor two Natick firefighters who helped save two teens who fell into an icy pond last month. Lt. Michael Aries and Firefighter Brian Linton helped save two teens who fell into the water at Pickerel Pond on Dec. 20, and gave their rescue suits to the teens to keep them warm, said Fire Chief James Sheridan. The Celtic's will honor the two firefighters as part of the team's Heroes Among Us program.
